About us
The Lekker Barkery CC started in Cape Town in 2006. We were inspired by the love for our own tenacious Jackies – Dunnie and Buddy. Dunnie is the fur kid depicted in our iconic logo, and yes, it’s an original pose – no photoshopping except for the background! After experiencing a very limited range of treats on offer for our canine companions, we decided we wanted to change this. Our mission was, and still is to offer a natural treat, one that is healthy but scrumptious too. We try and keep our product as natural as possible, avoiding preservatives and salt. Our products are heat dried at specific temperatures to ensure the safety of the product as well as preserve the product in its natural state as best possible. Read more
